I loved your birdcage. Also, you were great on the segment. I hope we'll see more of you!! We're bird lovers, but prefer smaller birds. Pico seems like the best bird ever. What kind is he? Marci B. Centennial Colorado
Cute birdcage! I was wondering what kind of tree branch, you put in Pico's cage, & where can you get them. I missed the end of the show. Thanks, Alicia Minnesota
thanks everyone! Pico is a Parrotlet, one of the smallest types of parrots. I got her from Marc Morrone of Parrots of the World. I will certainly be posting pictures of the cage and a link to the instructions. The branches in the cage were pear tree branches I believe with little flowers on them. they were purchased in the flower market on 28th street between 6th and 7th avenue here in Manhattan. thanks again! ox
I loved your segment. Beautiful project and your enthusiasm for it (and cute Pico, of course) really came across. I got a kick out of hearing Martha say she'd spent a year of her life stripping woodwork - me too - never again!!
You did great!

Could you post a picture of Pico's new cage you made on the show today! It looks great! I would love to make a bigger one for a parrot!
